Studies that back up this protocol

Summary

Goal: Stimulate collagen and rejuvenate skin under the eyes (great results)

Protocol

๐ŸšจDay 1: Red light therapy clinical grade: 8/10 min (>20min on the face can desensitize cells, biphasic dose response).

๐Ÿ’‰Day 2: Home microneedling session with stamp. Check the ideal length guide. ๐ŸงดDay 3: Rest day, focus on hydration and skin barrier repair (hyaluronic acid/peptides/ Avoid under eye retinoids)

Day 4: Rest day.

Day 5: Red light therapy. I use clinical panels or red light masks.

Day 6: Depending on results, repeat microneedling, hydrate, or rest.

REPEAT 1 week / 1 week off

๐Ÿซ– Another effective tip is to apply red light therapy after using green tea cotton patches. โ†“ โ†“

NOTE โš ๏ธ Do not use red light therapy directly after microneedling to avoid overstimulating freshly treated skin.

I also use a microcurrent therapy device, but I limit it to two or three times per week, as it is still a relatively new technology and the evidence is continuing to develop.
